Content Standards and Guidelines in Apple Business Connect

Because photos help customers see what is special about your brand and locations, it is important to give your customers the best experience possible. Before you add photos to Apple Business Connect, be sure you follow these photo and text standards and guidelines.

Note: There is a 100-photo limit for each company, which includes all brands associated with the company.

Photo quality

Relevant to the location and clearly distinguishable that it is of the location.
Items in the photo are well lit.
Not deliberately blurry.
Not text-heavy or just screenshot.
Not obviously modified through use of filters, overlays, collages, or other edits.
Does not contain date or time stamp.
Does not contain watermarks.
Does not contain hateful or inappropriate content, orpromote any illegal activity.

Photo permissions

Your company owns the photos or has the right to upload to Apple Business Connect and allows Apple to use them and share them.
You have permission from every person in the photos to include them.
Does not contain trademarks or otherwise violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
Does not violate Apple's Terms of Service↗.

Photo authenticity

Photos must not contain:

Spam
Any AI-generated content
Deceptive representation, language, or chracters
Conspiratorial content or misinformation

Photo format

The photo file format can be HEIF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG.

Location photos	720 x 960	4864 x 4864	N/A	These should be specific to a single location and help instruct the customer about what to expect at this location, which could include exterior views, services or products provided, ambiance, and so on.

Showcase photos	492 x 492	4864 x 4864	1:1	These should correspond to the title and body text of the Showcase contents.

Photo status

Apple reviews the photos uploaded to make sure they meet the standards and guidelines. You will be notified by email if the photos do not meet these requirements.
